Hi and welcome to premedjourney.com!
My sophomore year in college, I decided to try the pre med route. I had no idea what I was getting myself into. However, I adapted, survived and even thrived at times. Several years later I find myself with the desire to share my experiences and help others navigate the journey. Pre Med Journey was launched in 2008 with the hope of fulfilling that desire. Here you will find advice, reviews, tips and stories that I think are relevant to this crazy path.
Who am I?
Well, I’m a guy with a degree in Biology and am in the process of applying to medical school. I now have a job as an ER Scribe. Don’t know what an ER Scribe is? Well, it’s an amazing job geared for pre med students, and you can read about it by clicking here.
Because I want to tell stories about my experiences in the ER and am concerned about patient confidentiality, I will remain anonymous, but you can call me Sam. If you think I’m describing your ER story, I’m not. Check out my disclaimer.
Why Sam? Well, sometimes the road to medical school feels like the path to Mordor, and everyone can use a companion like Sam (yes, I am a bit of a geek).
Feel free to contact me using the form below, I’m happy to respond to any questions and welcome any ideas for topics you’d like to see addressed on the site. This site is for you!
